“We love the logistical side of it because it's just not a headache to us at all, it all just happens and the kids who are keen go hard for it. It's a dream event for us as a school.

“Last year we used a completely different company to SCHOOL FUN RUN and we raised $15,000 which we thought was amazing. This year we've changed to SCHOOL FUN RUN and we've actually doubled the amount of money that we've raised. I think just the fact that we had such support and innovative ideas and creative ways to actually really reach out to the kids and the parents was really important.

“This is the most amount of money that we've raised, it is absolutely astounding. If there's one thing that a P&C can do throughout the year it's definitely hold a School Fun Run Crazy Colour Day and just have an awesome amount of fun with it.

“We've raised a huge amount of money for the school, which is really exciting and as you can see, just fantastic fun! It's definitely an easier way to fundraise than doing 50 million sausage sizzles.

“Raising $91,000 this year is beyond all expectations. The School Fund Run just seems to be getting bigger and better and I can't wait to organise next year's event.

“The fundraising effort was the easiest way of doing fundraising. We did everything online. The website was very easy for students to use, the profiles were (easy to) set up so no issues whatsoever. Friendly staff (at School Fun Run were) very engaging and we could get all our questions answered in no time.

“The School Fun Run brings so much fun to our kids, so much colour, so much energy, it's just fantastic and the kids just seem so happy and everyone's happy and that's the best thing about our day.

“This was a lot of fun, a lot of parents squealing more than the kids, it was great. The fundraising's been a lot easier because it's been online, we haven't had to handle cash at school. There's been a wider scope of family that could be contacted through the internet, so we've got donations from around the country even overseas.

“For our school community, today has been absolutely fantastic. 100%... all schools should be doing this. This is a fantastic way to raise money, I’ve had local schools in my area raise tens of thousands of dollars through this program.

“We were really impressed with the resources that were provided to the school for the fun run. Their online platform was fantastic,

“The online fundraising was absolutely brilliant because these days a lot of kids have grandparents overseas or aunts and uncles overseas. So, the online fundraising actually allowed those families overseas to participate in helping out their grandchild’s school.

“A heart-warming experience today to come and watch our boy run. He's really been looking forward to this day and being part of it for months. For months and months and months!
